Visit McHenry County was incorporated in 2005 as a 501(c)(6) non profit corporation in the State of Illinois with the mission to create economic growth for and to develop and promote McHenry County by effectively marketing the region as a preferred convention and visitors destination as well as enhancing the visitor's experience.
McHenry County is located in the Northwest region of Chicagoland, McHenry County offers a change of pace from the urban environment.
